abstract | The invention relates to a fuel system for supply in tuyeres during pig iron production in the blast furnace, as well as to a method and apparatuses for the production and supply of the fuel system. In order to optimize pig iron production in blast furnaces, according to the invention, a fuel system is provided for injection via tuyeres, for instance using the PCI process, and enabling production to take place in an extremely simple and rational manner. In particular, the fuel system consists of a ready-to-inject coal dust-scale mixture, produced by joint pulverization, particularly in a vertical roller mill. In addition to an improvement to the blast furnace process, an extremely efficient exploitation of in particular oil-contaminated scale materials occurring in rolling processes is made possible. |
