abstract | A method for manufacturing hollow silica particles is disclosed. In the steps of the method, a solution containing aluminum ion is first supplied. A precipitant is added into the solution containing aluminum ion to form aluminum particles. After filtrating and washing the aluminum particles with water, pH-modifier is added to form an acid dispersion solution. Next, colloidal silica is added into the acid dispersion solution and the pH value of the acid dispersion solution is modified to the value about 1 so as to form hollow silica particles. |
