External preparations for treating dermatitis are obtained by including adrenocorticosteroid in cyclodextrin and dissolving 0.025 to 0.5% by weight of adrenocorticosteroid, 0.20 to 30% by weight of cyclodextrin and 0.5 to 55% by weight of dextran or pullulan in an aqueous solution containing polysaccharides, which contain 0.5 to 55% by weight of xyloglucan, trehalose, laminaran, krestin and pectin. As components of the aqueous solution, glucose, mutan, lentinan, sodium chloride and potassium chloride are added. Thus, an improved therapeutic effect can be established on atopic dermatitis and psoriasis vulgaris. |
