abstract | The present invention provides an electro-optical device, method for manufacturing the same, and electronic equipment. The subject is to perform more stable operation of an electro-optical device by preventing moisture from entering into a laminated structure constructed on a substrate, in particular into a thin film transistor constituting a part thereof. The solution is provided by building a thin film transistor including data lines, scanning lines and a semiconductor layer on a substrate, and a pixel electrode to which a picture signal is supplied through the data line via the thin film transistor. The solution is further equipped with an interlayer insulating film disposed between the data lines and the pixel electrode and a passivation coating disposed on the surface of the interlayer insulating film. |
