abstract | A method of fabricating super absorbent polymers by using an unsaturated monomer solution prepared by multiple neutralization processes. The method includes using a water-soluble unsaturated monomer solution prepared by multiple neutralization processes. The pH value of the water-soluble unsaturated monomers can not be lower than 8 when segments of the neutralization processes are completed. After neutralization processes completing, the pH value of the water-soluble unsaturated monomers cannot be lower than 5.5 and the neutralization ratio of the unsaturated monomer solution is between 45 to 85 mole %. The concentration of the monomer solution is between 20 to 55 weights. The present invention provides the super absorbent polymers having the excellent absorption properties, such as high water absorption capacity, absorbency under load (AUL) and low residual monomers. |
