abstract |
A concave and convex component comprising: a concave and convex part having a concave and convex configuration for light convergence, light diffusion or light diffraction, or a concave and convex configuration being formed a reflective film, wherein the concave and convex configuration has a tangential angle defined at 23 degrees or below relative to the horizontal face, and sectional forms of the concave and convex configuration at faces vertical to an axis parallel to a major axis or minor axis, respectively, have a profile of spheric or aspheric surface of the same curved shape at any position. A method of forming a die to make a concave and convex component having a concave and convex configuration, comprising: a first step of fixing a cutting tool for cutting said die to a cutting machine with an angle defined at edge angle theta2 ± 3 degrees or below in the case where the tooth face of the cutting tool stands vertical to a horizontal face; and a second step of cutting the die by the cutting tool to form the concave and convex configuration of the concave and convex component. |
