Molded adsorbent and adsorbent unit |
abstract |
The present invention provides a molded adsorbent which is for use in a housing, characterized in that it comprises, as constituent materials, adsorbent particles and a binder resin, and that when a hydrous gas with a dew point of -15 DEG C is continuously supplied through the gas inlet to a cell with the molded adsorbent housed therein and the gas discharged through the gas outlet is examined for the degree of water removal, then the time required for the degree of water removal to decrease to or below 30% is 10 hours or longer. Alternatively, the molded adsorbent is characterized by comprising as constituent materials a binder resin and adsorbent particles that have been covered partly or wholly with an adsorption-inhibitive substance. Also provided are: an adsorbent unit employing either of the molded adsorbents; and a housing containing any of the molded adsorbents and the adsorbent unit. |
