titleOfInvention | Method of increasing the reduction of nitrogen oxides for catalysts of the motorcycle |
abstract | A method of increasing the reduction of nitrogen oxides for catalysts of the motorcycle, including a second air supply pipeline is installed between the intake end of air and the exhaust end of exhaust gas, at least one valve of flow control is installed on the pipeline and accept the control by the ECU. When the engine of the motorcycle is starting in an idled state of low exhaust temperature, the valve of flow control is opened to guide second air into the exhaust end of exhaust gas, so as to keep the higher efficiency of catalysts to oxidize CO and HC. Further, a constant value of temperature of the engine is installed in the ECU, so when the exhaust temperature of the engine is exceeding the constant value of temperature, the ECU can command the valve to turn off the valve gradually or totally turn off the valve, so as to reduce or turn off second air, and reduce the ratio of air and fuel in exhaust gas. Thus, the present invention can promote the reductive efficiency of nitrogen oxides for catalysts. |
