abstract |
A conduction inhibitor including an epoxy resin or the like is mixed into a liquid crystal material. Specifically, the conduction inhibitor is formed by a bisphenol F epoxy resin, and mixing proportion is set to 0.1 wt% to 10 wt%. When such a conduction inhibitor is mixed, electrical conduction caused by ions due to an impurity or the like existing in the liquid crystal material can be suppressed, thereby maintaining a voltage holding ratio high when a liquid crystal display cell and a liquid crystal display are structured by using the liquid crystal material. |
