A monopole antenna apparatus with dual purpose used in a multi-band mobile phone/global positioning dual system. The antenna is formed on a substrate, and the substrate comprises a flat surface, a cambered surface, a first radiated metal line, including one high-band resonant trace and one low-band resonant trace, a second radiated metal line, a first feeding point, a second feeding point. The high-band resonant trace and the low-band resonant trace for receiving and transmitting the signal of multi-band mobile phone system are arranged on the flat surface and the cambered surface separately, and both are connected to the first feeding point. The second radiated metal line for receiving the signal of global positioning system is arranged on the cambered surface and is connected to the second feeding point. |
