abstract The purpose of this invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a multi-layered unit for a multi-layered electronic component, which is utilized to manufacture, conforming to common expectation, a multilayered unit laminated by a ceramic green sheet and an electrode layer. In addition to prevent the ceramic green sheet from deformation and damage, the solvent in the electrode paste can be avoided entering into the ceramic green sheet. The invented method for manufacturing a multi-layered unit for a multi-layered electronic component comprises: a step of forming a ceramic green sheet on a first supporting sheet; a step of forming a release layer on a second supporting sheet having a width substantially the same as the first supporting sheet and having a surface treatment region and non-surface treatment regions on both sides of the surface treatment region; a step of forming an internal electrode layer composed of an electrode layer having a certain pattern on the release layer and a spacer layer having a complementary pattern to the electrode layer; a step of forming an adhesive layer on a third supporting sheet having a width substantially the same as the second supporting sheet; a step of transferring the adhesive layer formed on the third supporting sheet on the internal electrode layer; and a step of forming a multilayer unit by transferring the ceramic green sheet formed on the first supporting sheet on the internal electrode layer that is formed on the second supporting sheet. The adhesive layer is formed by coating adhesive solution on the third supporting sheet which has a width narrower than the third supporting sheet by at least 2alpha (alpha is a positive number) but wider than the surface treatment region, the ceramic green sheet, the release layer and the internal electrode layer by at least 2alpha.
