abstract | Disclosed is a classification method for optical recording medium which comprises the steps of sorting, image pickup, image verification and classification, primarily using the image pickup device to retrieve the images of the optical recording medium preset in the output path to do sorting analysis on the elements of the images consisting of colors, shapes, sizes and matters relating to the appearance of image in a short period of time and then to compare the appearance by a recognition mechanism to send out commands to a control mechanism to proceed classification for every type of optical recording medium according to the appearance, hence, enabling every type of optical recording medium to be classified quickly, efficiently and without contamination and to maintain its original physical property and chemical property. Thus, this disclosure achieves an easy and quick operation with reduced cost yet having high classification efficiency. Furthermore, it is environmental friendly by recycling and reusing of materials as well as reliable and high value-added. |
