titleOfInvention Electronic component tester
abstract The present invention aims to provide an electronic component tester. After positioning a holding-side contact arm (317) for holding the integrated circuit (IC) to be tested on the optic axis (OP) of an alignment apparatus's alignment charge coupled device (CCD) camera (336), the IC is inserted into a first opening part (321a) formed on an alignment movable part (321) to allow the touching member (317d) of the holding-side contact arm (317) to touch the alignment movable part (321). Then, the camera (336) is applied to take photos and, by means of image process, the alignment required for compensating the IC's position can be computed. Finally, the locking and releasing mechanism (318) equipped on a first contact arm (315a1) is set to be free. Thus, by allowing the holding side contact arm (317), which touches the alignment movable part (321), to move in correspondence with a base-side contact arm (316), the present invention can allow a driver (322) for driving the alignment movable part (321) according to the required alignment to align the IC's position.
