| abstract |
The invention provides a watermark encoding method and its recording medium. The method enhances the robustness of an image by performing interleaving and wavelet-based transform to the image. Furthermore, the watermark sequence to be embedded is transformed, encrypted and modulated to make the watermark more difficult to be broken. Finally, the watermark is distributed and hidden in various bands of the image by frequency hopping, thereby generating robust hidden watermark image. When the watermark is applied in a recording medium, the side information generated in encoding can be recorded in the lead-in area of the recording medium to reduce the possibility of being illegally copied and reproduced. |
