abstract A bio-degradable thermoplastic film is made by blending polycaprolactone (PCL) and polyethylene (PE) or its copolymer with a ethylene-methyl acrylate (EMA) compatibilizer; and subjecting the blended material to a blow formation process to produce a thermoplastic film. Such a PCL/PE/EMA plastic film is bio-degradable and capable of being used as a packaging material.
