Micro-fluid driving device |
abstract |
A micro-fluid driving device can be applied on a micro-fluid system for bio-tests such as protein test and hybridization of nucleic acids. Its structure includes a dual-layered substrate, an elastic intermediate layer, and a linear actuator. The upper layer substrate includes a hollow cavity. The dual-layered substrate is divided with an elastic intermediate layer, and forms a pump cavity with the hollow cavity of the upper layer substrate. The base layer substrate has a perforation corresponding to the pump cavity. The linear actuator applies a cyclic pressure on the elastic intermediate layer of the pump cavity through the perforation of the pump cavity corresponding to the base layer substrate in order to form contractions in the pump cavity for driving a fluid. The inlet/outlet of the pump cavity are installed with a pair of check valves separately located on the inlet/outlet fluid channel in order to control the flow direction of the fluid. |
