abstract |
The catalytic species of the invention is of the type comprising a rare earth and magnesium and is characterized in that it can be obtained by a process comprising bringing ethylene into contact with a product obtained by bringing an alcoholate of said rare earth into the presence of an organomagnesium compound. This species can be used as a polymerisation catalyst or initiator in a process for polymerising an olefin or a lactone and for the copolymerisation of ethylene and a polar monomer. Finally, the invention concerns an ethylene-co-(meth)acrylic ester diblock copolymer with a molar mass Mn of at least 200000, more particularly at least 250000. |
