titleOfInvention | Cyanomethylene compound, process of producing the compound and agricultural or horticultural bactericide |
abstract | The cyanomethylene compound of the present invention is a compound represented by the formula wherein R is a C1-20 straight-chain or branched alkyl group, a C3-8 cycloalkyl group, an aryl group which may be substituted, a heterocyclic group which may be substituted, or the like; R1 is a straight-chain or branched alkyl group, a C3-8 cycloalkyl group, an aryl group which may be substituted, a heterocyclic group which may be substituted, or the like; A is a C1-6 straight-chain or branched alkylene group or the like; and Y is a sulfur atom, a sulfinyl group or a sulfonyl group. The cyanomethylene compound of the present invention has excellent bactericidal activity not only against drug-sensitive bacteria but also against drug-resistant bacteria. The cyanomethylene compound of the present invention is usable as an agricultural or horticultural bactericide. |
