abstract |
A compound semi-permeable membrane comprising a thin membrane containing a polyamide-based resin having a constitutional unit wherein a diamine residue and di- or tri-carboxylic residue are bonded through an amido bond, and the diamine residue is a residue of a secondary diamine which hydrogen atom at N-position of an aromatic diamine is substituted with an alkyl group, and a porous supporting film supporting the thin membrane are made to contact with an aqueous solution of an oxidizer to form a compound semi-permeable membrane. Thus obtained compound semi-permeable membrane collectively has practical water permeability, excellent salt inhibition performance, and resistance to oxidizer. |
