abstract The present invention provides a generator structure for use in an absorbing/expanding type refrigeration device, comprising a heating device, a double-layered tube arranged in the heating device and a heat transfer tube arranged between inner and outer tube of the double-layered tube. The inner tube of the double-layered tube serves as a conduit for concentrated ammonia aqueous solution, while the outer tube is a conduit for thin ammonia aqueous solution. As such, the heating device heats the double-layered tube to cause the concentrated ammonia aqueous solution inside the inner tube to release ammonia gas, forming bubbled stream, due to the heating. The heat transfer tube reduces the thermal resistance between the inner and outer tubes thereby reducing the temperature for initiation of bubbles in the generator.
