| abstract | This patent application will provide novel methods for composting of organic wastes such as sludge from food industries or sewage, manure of various live stocks or chicken or wastes foods from every day life of human beings etc. This application will also offer novel way to use the composts resulted. Thin used paper cut, such as news paper, is mixed finely with those organic wastes described above to adjust water contents of them. The mixture is placed into a fermenter which is closed with a lid and equipped with an apparatus at bottom, through which air is supplied by blowers. By this aeration, aerobic fermentation occurs and composting is completed in a shorter period compared to ordinary anaerobic fermentation performing under open air. After the completion of composting, appropriately viscous compost which is suitable to make various agricultural materials such as plant pots, plug for plantlets or plate containing vegetable seeds is resulted. The reason why these materials can be made is that the resulted compost contains a cellulose fiber derived from added used thin paper. |
