abstract The received information record/regenerate device of the present invention as Fig. 1 is provided for managing the record/regenerate state of the compress encoded data, which comprises of: the uncompressible encode signal detector (102) for detecting the information which indicates the inputted analog video/audio signal is compressible encode or uncompressible encode; and the record/regenerate management section (104) for managing the record/regenerated state of the compress encode data, according to the information from the uncompressible encode signal detector (102). By this way, the problems about the disorder of the image and the freeze of the system caused by the different states of the inputted analog video/audio signal can be avoided when regenerating the data.
