abstract This invention provides a method for controlling the paste concentration of a pasting device at predetermined target value, by just using supplementary paste of constant concentration. In a pasting machine having wetting device 2 and pasting device 10 for pasting warp thread 1 after wetting process, the paste concentration of the pasting device control method of present invention is characterized in that said paste concentration D of said pasting device 10 is detected or predicted, when said paste concentration D of said posting device 10 being deviated from predetermined management value, the measured value of percentage of water pick-up PW from said wetting device 2 of said warp thread 1 closing to target value of PW in such a management value by the control of the wetting of said warp thread 1.
