abstract An inductive sensor on the basis of a ring-formed closed soft-magnetic core (K) is provided, in which the measurable current inside the ring-formed closed magnetic circuit results in an inductive change, which can be picked up through a measure-winding (MW) surrounding the core. To attain a linear property inside a wide measure-area, the ring-formed closed core has some core-areas (KB), which include a magnetic powder-compound-material, especially a ferrite polymer composite.
