abstract |
This invention relates to a flame-retardant resin which contains an epoxy resin with its side chain modified by a reactive phosphorus-containing compound. Moreover, the invention relates to a flame-retardant composition, which consists of: (1) an epoxy resin with its side chain modified by a reactive phosphorus-containing compound; (2) a halogen-free hardening agent containing activated hydrogen capable of reacting with the epoxy group of the epoxy resin; and (3) a hardening promoter. The above-mentioned flame-retardant composition has excellent heat resistance and improving characteristics for flame retardancy; therefore, it is particularly suitable to be used for lamination sheet, composite material, printed circuit board, adhesive material of copper foil and package material of semiconductor. |
