titleOfInvention Device for and method of producing/supplying dry ice snow, cleaning device and cleaning method
abstract This invention provides a device and method for producing/supplying dry ice capable of producing and supplying dry ice snow in a stable state. This method for supplying dry ice snow is to connect a high pressure gas vessel filled with a booster gas to a liquefied carbon dioxide storage vessel, install a temperature controlling device, maintain a constant pressure by raising pressure to a predetermined pressure with the booster gas, control the storage vessel in a temperature for keeping carbon dioxide under the constant pressure to be in a liquid state, feed the liquefied carbon dioxide in the storage vessel to a throttle nozzle unit through a shut off valve and generate and supply dry ice snow through adiabatic expansion at the throttle nozzle unit. Moreover, adjusting pipe length, concurrently injecting booster gas dry ice injection flow surrounding area and having conical shape injection nozzle and also flat side gap recess, flow rate and pressure of the injection gas can be altered. Intermittent or continuous supply of heated and ionized dry ice is provided to the injection nozzle to clean the target article.
