titleOfInvention Color plasma display panel by using different ionized gas to emit different light
abstract The present invention provides a kind of plasma display panel (PDP). The plasma display panel contains a rear plate, a front plate installed in parallel and on top of the rear plate, and plural barrier ribs, which are installed between rear plate and front plate to define plural sets of discharge spaces. The first, the second, and the third discharge spaces are included inside each set of discharge space. In addition, the first, the second, and the third discharge spaces are filled with the first, the second, and the third ionized gases, respectively, in order to emit three different colors of light. Furthermore, another reflecting layer is included on the rear plate of the plasma display panel to totally reflect the light generated by the ionized gas and prevent the generated light from penetrating from the rear plate such that the emitting light intensity and efficiency of the plasma display panel can be increased.
