abstract | A leaking detection method for underground conduit, container, and covered dumping field comprises following procedures. (a) Drill detecting holes at target depth at intervals around the underground conduit, container or covered dumping field. (b) Put one or several meters at depth intervals along each detecting hole for measuring the quantity of water and hydro carbon inside the soil and also analyzing the water quality inside the soil to obtain data of water and hydro carbon arrangement or water quality change at different soil depth in the sites. (c) Analyze the arrangement of water quantity and hydro carbon at different levels of depth or the water quality changing to obtain data of possible leaking and its suspected spot. |
