| abstract | This invention describes a drawing device capable of handling flexibly a wide range of drawable thermoplastic resin materials such as a string, film, band and sheet, comprising a first pressurizing medium tank and a first buffer medium tank on an upstream side and a second pressurizing medium tank and a second buffer medium tank on a downstream side, all of which are sequentially and adjacently disposed in a laterally long drawing tank, a pressurized steam supply unit and a drawing tank discharge unit connected to the drawing tank, a pressurizing medium supply unit and a discharge unit connected to the first and second pressurizing medium tanks, and a buffer medium supply unit and a discharge unit connected to the first and second buffer medium tanks, in which opening members each having an opening formed approximately along the sectional shape of a drawable material passing therethrough with a slight gap therebetween are disposed, with their centers substantially aligned, at upstream and downstream ports via which tanks are connected with one another to allow pressurized medium to flow in a slight amount into the drawing tank and the first and second buffer medium tanks, and an undrawn material supplied from an upstream port is introduced into the drawing tank into which pressurized steam is introduced and which is kept airtight, is drawn and is introduced to the downstream port for withdrawing, thereby producing a drawable thermoplastic resin strip material. |
