abstract | The present invention relates to the preparation of hollow forms of chitosans and their shaping methods. By swelling high polymers of chitosans in acidic solutions containing anionic surfactants, chitosan form colloidal casing with solution inside. After immersion in alkaline solution, high polymertic chitosan with hollow structures can be obtained. The present invention also involves the tretment of powder form of chitosans to form spherical bead; in another aspect for film-like chitosans, the tretment can produce gelatin-like capsules, and still in another aspect for fibrous chitosans, hollow fiber can be obtained. |
