titleOfInvention | Resin for toner and process for preparing same |
abstract | A resin for toner comprising a polymer comprising (a) units of an aromatic vinyl component, (b) units of an acrylic or methacrylic compound component, and (c) units of a polyfunctional compound component, said polymer having a content of a tetrahydrofuran-insoluble matter of 5 to 60%, a molecular weight at a maximum peak in a molecular weight distribution by gel permeation chromatography of a tetrahydrofuran-soluble matter of not more than 20,000, and a weight-average polymerization degree of not more than 180, and a process for preparing the toner. A resin for toner can be obtained having excellent fixing properties, non-offsetting properties, blocking resistance and image stability. |
