abstract To provide a hole-wall maintaining boring method wherein a boring is performed employing no bubbles nevertheless without raising dust. Employed is a hole-wall maintaining method to bore a hole in the earth with a drill, which is characterized by that a solution of at least one selected from the group consisting of natural high molecular compounds, semi-synthesized high moleculrar compounds excluding carboxymethyl celluose and synthesized high molecular compounds is sprayed as boring to form a mist with pressurized air to prevent stones, earth and sand in the hole-wall from collapsing and falling.
