abstract An apparatus provided with a fluidized bed crystallizer for treating wastewater comprises a reactor filled with carriers and potable tap water, a reagent inlet connected to the reactor for introducing reagent into the reactor, and a recirculation connected with the reactor. The wastewater can be introduced into the reactor through the recirculation, a first wastewater pipe provided on the bottom of the reactor, or a second wastewater pipe extending from the top to the bottom of the reactor. Thewastewater then flows upward to fluidize the carriers. The reagentcan react with pollutants contained in the wastewater to form crystals on the fluidized carriers. Finally, the treated wastewater is discharged from the top of the reactor.
