The present disclosure relates to a stabilized composition containing hydroquinone or a derivative thereof, a composition for ensuring the stability of hydroquinone or a derivative thereof, in which the composition contains hydroquinone or a derivative thereof as an active ingredient for whitening, And additionally contain metal oxides (preferably zinc oxide (ZnO), calamine (Calamine), titanium dioxide (TIO 2 ) or mixtures thereof) as ingredients for improving skin irritation. To ensure this stability, the compositions of the present disclosure comprise (i) sodium metabisulfite, sodium bisulfite, or mixtures thereof, and (ii) dicarboxylic acids, tricarboxylic acids acid or a mixture thereof. |
