abstract The present invention relates to a heat-dissipating resin composition for a chip resistor protective film, which contains a thermosetting resin, a hardener, and a heat-dissipating filler with a thermal conductivity of 10 W/m∙K or more of 60% by volume. The weight reduction temperature of the hardened product is above 300°C. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a heat-dissipating resin composition for a chip resistor protective film that can form a "chip resistor protective film with excellent durability and capable of suppressing chip resistor damage even when electronic parts are increased in power or miniaturization" A chip resistor protective film composed of a cured product of the composition, and an electronic component provided with the chip resistor protective film.
