abstract |
Provided is an imaging device that operates in a global shutter mode. The image pickup device includes two memory circuits in the pixel to hold the data output to the CDS circuit. Therefore, image data with reduced noise can be obtained. In addition, the above two memory circuits are provided with transistors including metal oxides in the channel formation region. The off-state current of the OS transistor is extremely small, so it can inhibit the charge from flowing out of the storage node. Therefore, the deterioration of the image data during reading can be suppressed, and high-quality image data can be obtained. |
