abstract The present invention discloses disulfide-crosslinked hyaluronic acid hydrogels for preventing tissue adhesions caused by abdominal (pelvic) surgeries, and the amount of the disulfide-crosslinked hyaluronic acid ranges from 3 to 8 mg/ml. The disulfide-crosslinked hyaluronic acid hydrogel in the present invention has remarkable advantages of good biocompatibility and a good preventive effect on tissue adhesion, while used for the prevention of tissue adhesions caused by abdominal (pelvic) surgeries. The present invention also provides a preparation method of disulfide-crosslinked hyaluronic acid hydrogels for preventing tissue adhesions caused by abdominal (pelvic) surgeries.
