abstract | Up to now, a method for producing oxymethylene polymers that can efficiently produce oxymethylene polymers with a high degree of polymerization while suppressing the increase in the amount of odor generation has been expected. In addition, an oxymethylene polymer resin composition in which the generation of odor during molding or after forming into a molded body is suppressed is also expected. According to the present invention, a method for producing oxymethylene polymers is provided, which is a method for producing oxymethylene polymers by polymerizing cyclic oligomers of formaldehyde, wherein a boron trifluoride compound and fluorine are used. The aryl boron compound acts as a polymerization catalyst. In addition, an oxymethylene polymer resin composition is provided, which contains an oxymethylene polymer and a derivative of a fluorinated aryl boron compound. |
