abstract [Problem] To provide a purification method capable of purifying a diamine compound that is not suitable for purification methods using distillation, sublimation, and recrystallization, and for other purposes, to provide a polyimide compound having excellent colorlessness and transparency.n[Solution] The method for purifying a diamine compound of the present invention is characterized by comprising: a step of making a diamine compound into a neutralized salt and dissolving it in a solvent; supplying a solvent and an extraction solvent in which the neutralized salt of the diamine compound is dissolved To the liquid separation tank, the step of extracting impurities derived from the diamine compound contained in the solvent in which the neutralization salt of the diamine compound is dissolved into the extraction solvent while being in a phase-separated state; and The step of subjecting the neutralized salt of the diamine compound dissolved in the solvent to a weak base free reaction in the presence of a reducing agent to obtain a diamine.
