abstract | The present invention relates to a Bacillus velezensis subsp. formosensis isolated from animal feed, and its use as a feed additive. The Bacillus velezensis strain Y2T can increase the population of beneficial bacteria in poultry intestinal tract, improve the intestinal flora, and exhibit competitive inhibition with harmful bacteria to reduce the growth of bad bacteria, so that the poultry has better growth performance, and thus can effectively reduce the odor of poultry excrements. |
