In order to provide an organic radical battery with high output, excellent discharge characteristics at high current, and excellent cycle characteristics, an electrode is used in the organic radical battery. The electrode uses the following copolymer as an electrode active material: x satisfies the range of 0.1 to 10 It has a repeating unit having a nitroxide radical represented by formula (1-a) and a repeating unit having a carboxyl group represented by formula (1-b), and has a cross-linked structure.
