abstract | A method for preparing active carbon is provided to solve the problem where the conventional method for preparing active carbon has a complex operational procedure and consumes more energy. The method includes preparing a raw material containing a carbon material and conducting a carbonization reaction in a nitrogen atmosphere at a temperature of 300 to 500 degrees for 1-3 hours to obtain the active carbon without adding an active agent for an active reaction. The iodine value of the obtained active carbon is between 436 to 1085 mg/g. |
