The present invention provides a colored particle aqueous dispersion which is suitable for use as a color material for a writing instrument ink, an inkjet ink, a drawing material, or an aqueous coating material, and which has excellent water resistance, light resistance, and the like. The colored particle aqueous dispersion is characterized by being composed of a polymer having at least a monomer unit derived from a dye having a polymerizable unsaturated group. The monomer derived from the above dye is preferably derived from a compound represented by the following formula (1). Wherein Dye represents a dye residue; R 1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; Y 2 represents -O- or -NR 10 -; R 10 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; A 1 means: An alkyl group having at least one selected from -OCO-, -COO-, -NHCONH-, etc. in the chain and/or at the end; having -OCO-, -COO- in the chain and/or at the end -NHCONH- or the like selected from at least one of the groups, and having an alkyl group as a hydroxyl group of the substituent; an alkyl group having a hydroxyl group as a substituent; or an alkyl group. |
