| abstract |
The present invention provides a system and method for machine learning. The system includes a graphics processing unit with a graphics processing unit memory and a key value storage device connected to the graphics processing unit memory. The method includes: using a graphics processing unit to write a key value request to a queue of key value requests in an input-output area of a memory of the graphics processing unit, and the key value request includes a key. The method further includes using the key value storage device to read the key value request from the key value request queue, and in response to the key value request, using the key value storage device to write the value to the input of the graphics processing unit memory. An output area, said value corresponding to the key requested by the key value. |
