abstract |
The present invention relates to a controlled release pharmaceutical composition and a process for the preparation thereof. In particular, the present invention relates to a controlled release pharmaceutical composition comprising a) an active drug-containing core; b) an outer layer comprising at least one matrix former. By the controlled release pharmaceutical composition provided by the invention, the residence time of the drug in the stomach can be prolonged, thereby prolonging the transport of the drug throughout the gastrointestinal tract and increasing the absorption of the drug. |
