The present invention also provides a method for manufacturing a solid-state imaging device using the pattern forming method. A photoresistive or radiation-sensitive resin composition is used to form a pattern used as a mask in an ion implantation process, and includes: a resin including a repeating unit having an acid-decomposable group; a photoacid generator; and an additive, The melting point or glass transition temperature is less than 25 ° C., and the molecular weight is 180 or more.
