Treated film for aroma transfer |
abstract |
The invention relates to a treated vapor-permeable microporous membrane, which includes a microporous membrane having a first side and a second side opposite to the first side. The film includes a thermoplastic organic polymer with polyolefin. The membrane defines a network of interconnected pores that communicate substantially throughout the membrane. The treated film further includes a fine powdery particulate filler distributed throughout the film and a first hydrophobic/oleophobic material on at least a portion of the first side. A method for preparing the treated vapor-permeable microporous membrane is also disclosed. |
