titleOfInvention Semiconductor display device and driving method thereof
abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a semiconductor display device with a touch panel, which can reduce power consumption. The semiconductor display device includes: a panel provided with a pixel portion and a driver circuit, the driver circuit controls the input of an image signal to the pixel portion; and a touch panel provided at a position overlapping the panel in the pixel portion. The pixel portion includes: a display element configured to perform display according to the voltage of the image signal to be input; and a transistor configured to control the holding of the voltage. The transistor includes an oxide semiconductor in the channel formation region. The driving frequency of the driver circuit, that is, the number of writing operations of the image signal in a certain period, changes according to the operating signal from the touch panel.
