abstract The invention provides a method for preparing a golden cherry blossom extract that regulates CD36, ApoA1, and SRB1. The golden cherry blossom is extracted by using water, alcohols, or a mixture of alcohol and water as a solvent. The invention also provides the use of golden cherry seed extract obtained in this way for preparing a composition for reducing liver fat accumulation. The golden cherry seed extract inhibits the gene expression of CD36 in liver cells and enhances the gene expression of ApoA1 and SRB1 in liver cells to achieve the effects of regulating fat metabolism, reducing liver fat accumulation, and reducing blood fat content.
