abstract |
The present invention provides a method for identifying patients with schizophrenia who are at risk for relapse. The invention also provides a method for early detection of recurrence of schizophrenia. The disclosed method uses monitoring a subset of symptoms and / or one or more biomarkers. Symptom severity can be assessed using Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS) parameters. The methods of the invention can be used to provide early intervention to reduce or prevent relapse in patients with schizophrenia. |
